Rovaniemi church 

is open daily from 2nd December 2024 until 6th January 2025 @9:00-21:00. Until 2nd December church is open Mon-Fri @11:00-14:00 when priest is also available. Services start Wednesdays @18:00 and Sundays @10:00. 



Shepherds Trail

You can also walk around Church Pond via Shepherds Trail with map from Church. Greatest Christmas Carols are organised more than 50 times during weeks 48-52 in Church, Chapels, Lordi Squares’ Manger, schools, and restaurants. You can check schedules at Mangers’ wall where timetable will be attached in end of November.

Christmas Trail 14.-16.12.2024 – A star shines 

In the darkness of the Rovaniemi Local Heritage Museum’s Garden (Pöykköläntie 4). Come and find the Child of Christmas together with the magi. Guided walks start every half hour. The walk is free of charge and suitable for all ages. A maximum of about 20 people fit into one group. Dress appropriately for the weather. Walks will not be arranged if it is colder than -15C. The story of the tour is also available in English and Russian. Welcome!
